I was at an event recently, when I heard those lyrics from an old Neil Diamond song, Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show, playing in the background.
An event is exciting, especially if you grab people to go with you!
Sharing special times with family and friends – experiencing life together – is what makes for good memories.
It is so easy to get stuck in our same old routines and do the same things over and over. But aren’t you ready for an adventure?
This community has so much to offer and such a variety, that I bet you can find several events that interest you. Why don’t you text, email, or call a few friends to attend with you? When you are browsing through your pictures later on, it’s those shared events that bring a smile.
Last year, our family got together for an event and I took lots of pictures. I went one step further and printed them off and put them into small picture albums for everyone. They loved it because we tend to keep pictures in our phone or on Facebook. It is a fun reminder that we can look through and remember a great time spent together.
So make a plan now to find an event that is exciting to you. And – pack up the babies and grab a few friends – and go!
